Legion is a series of laptop from Lenovo targeting gaming performance. The first Legion brand laptops was revealed at CES 2017, the Legion Y520 and the Legion Y720. On June 6, 2017, a high-performance model, the Legion Y920, equipped with Intel's seventh-generation quad-core i7-7820HK and Nvidia GTX 1070 discrete graphics, was launched.
Partnering with Kryst, Lenovo launched its Legion Demand Generation website in November 2017, giving birth to its first Legion identity with a global presence in 15 markets.
In March 2018, Kryst developed and launched the Legion Community website, granting gamers an intuitive online community to engage, learn and stay up to date with Legion initiatives in the region.
In June 2018, Kryst has developed a Community Forums and launched a points-based system that seeks to reward and incentivize Legion customers through a series of activities and community challenges involving Lenovo and its partners.
The digital presence and community engagement of Legion has garnered significant userbase growth and buzz in the eSports community, resulting in an increased brand awareness and consumer confidence of Lenovo's bold entry into the gaming industry.
Gearing towards a stronger foothold in the competitive eSports scene, Lenovo launched Rise of Legion, a tournament series of Lenovo Legion across game titles such as CS:GO, PUBG, Valorant, and world's largest MOBA title - Dota 2.
